| i had a fever last night of 100.8 and was feeling in general miserable. i sat through work and drank massive amounts of camomile tea.
then i got back to my room and emailed one of my professors (the one who actually takes attendance) and said to him that I was likely not going to show up at class and had every intention of just sleeping until i woke up.
then i just woke up, and am proceeding to try to cough up both my lungs, my stomach, and possibly even part of my intestinal track to boot. what fun.
due to circumstances, i'm shutting down this blog. so this is likely my last post in here. tata, folks.
| My e-mail address has changed.
Those of you who need it should know how to contact me...
| you know your semester will work out well when
* one of the profs is someone you find sooo interesting and love working for anyways
* one of the profs is young and wicked amusing, and teaches the class in such a great way that others may find it boring, but at least it's review, which is fantastic
* one of the profs hasn't even been hired yet
* one of the profs is giving out required practice problems that last year were optional -- and he hasnt' changed them a bit and you were smart and downloaded the answers last year
* all of the classes are holding your attention span for at least the first two days
* something which you were extremely worried about is working out well
* you're surrounded by wonderful friends who are understanding and willing to sit and listen to any problems you have
* you have friends who were abroad -- and are BACK -- and are still wonderful folk to be around!
| when i am able to spend a 24 hour period without having a breakdown i shall be pleased. | | |
| Where is Laura? She is in new hampshire packing. and not just for school. I'm getting EVERYTHING i own that i can get together placed into boxes. That way when i move officially out in december it'll be less of a hassle.
What is the status of Laura's network? (this is FUBARed)
Laura (is sitting attached via fingers to)
Quon (the powerbook laptop is attached wirelessly to)
BadTurtle (the Airport Basestation of Laura's, attached via ethernet cable to)
Speedstream (parents' wireless basestation which does not like quon, attached via ethernet to)
The WinME Box (who is not a happy camper and mommy insists upgrading basestation firmware will kill it... who is attached via dial-up to)
TDS, which shunts me to the internet.
This is officially the most Bass-Ackwards network I've ever done, and by golly it works. Hurrah for super-slow connection sharing.
